What about all the sacrificial victims of the Aztecs? The young native virgins, usually kidnapped from other surrounding tribes of the Aztecs? Should we not hold the Aztecs accountable for the killing of thousands of innocent young women to appease their pagan gods? La Malinche was given to the Spaniards along with the other native women, as a possession…..which makes me feel she was not held in high regard by her Aztec family members. The violation of women by men is unfortunately prevalent in all cultures…
